A very solid troop that can give your squad a lot of DPS since the start of the battle. One of the most common picks among experienced players.

Barbarian's fusion has a x2.0 multiplier in theory, but due to the fusion ability, it instead turns into a x3.5 multiplier. This can be broken down into x2 from the fusion and x1.77 from becoming Elite.
Elite Barbarian
Elite Barbarian has the same Hit Points as normal Barbarian, but faster Hit Speed and more Damage Per Hit (DPH). These two buffs are combined together into a total +77% Damage Per Second (DPS).
Similar to Fusions, when the transformation into Elite Barbarian happens the full health is restored, but also capped at lower maximum.
With 233 DPS, Elite Barbarian earns the strongest base attack of all normal troops.

Melee fighter with good damage
Baby Barbarian only turns into an Elite Barbarian when he is fused.
⭐⭐🌑🌑🌑 Classic
Becomes Elite after bashing lots of baddies
Turns into an Elite Barbarian after dealing 1,500 damage.
At 119 damage per hit, this translates into 13 hits.
⭐⭐⭐🌑🌑 Super
Goes Elite instantly when with another Barbarian
⭐⭐⭐⭐🌑 Ultra
Gets Enraged after busting a foe
During the 7 seconds after busting an enemy, Barbarian gets around 35% more Hit Speed, which also means around 35% more DPS. This effect doesn't affect the other troops of your squad.

Due to engine adjustments, the DPS boosts are actually of +38% and +36% instead of +35%.

Joins the Squad with a Baby Elite Barbarian
Whenever you pick Barbarian from a chest, a Baby Elite Barbarian spawns with him.
This Elite Barbarian is displayed as an ally in your squad, similar to Chicken Hatchlings or Mortis's troops. These Elite Barbarians have full HP and stats, but cannot be merged into a Fusion with others.
The stats of a Baby and Ultimate Elite Barbarian are basically the same, so the main differences for this bonus troop are:
- Can't be fused
- Doesn't get Enraged
