Basic Stats
Barbarian King stands out due to his ability to boost melee units, allowing the DPS in your Squad to increase significantly and become deadly against other Squads.

⭐🌑🌑🌑🌑 Baby
Your melee units attack faster
This ability increases the attack speed of all the melee allies in your Squad Range; this not only includes the king himself, but also monsters you collect with Mortis, for example. Your Squad Range is the circle that you see on-screen around your Squad.
This ability is analogous to Archer Queen's boost for ranged units.
This Hit Speed boost is mainly dependent on the amount of Barbarian Kings in your Squad. More Barbarian Kings means a bigger boost, up to 9 (3 Fusions).
The mechanics of this ability are fairly complex, which causes the speed boost to affect each troop differently based on their Hit Speed. Generally, slower Hit Speed troops get a bigger boost.
Let's first look at average changes in Hit Speed (HS) for all troops. It's useful to look at Hit Speed (instead of Hit Time) because it directly correlates with Damage Per Second (DPS).
The main increases can be seen when you collect 3 and 6 Barbarian Kings, which is when Fusions are triggered.
The following table shows how each amount of Barbarian Kings affects all the ranged troops. It can be a bit dense, so we have included a score out of 10 that shows how strong the DPS boost is relative to other troops. For example, a 10/10 is a perfect match to pair with Barbarian King, but a 5/10 means it's only getting half of the boost that this perfect match has.

The maximum Hit Speed boost for troops happens when you combine Royale King with 3 Fusion Barbarian Kings, which gives +132% DPS.
In general, these boost changes between troops aren't too significant. It's interesting to know if you are looking for the optimal combo, but it's unlikely to play a big role in most interactions.

Occasionally pummels enemies with his Iron Fist
Super Attack: Iron Fist
Iron Fist a very strong punch that stuns and knocks back enemies.
The time needed to load the Iron Fist is 10 seconds. After the Super Attack has loaded, Barbarian King's next attack is this Iron Fist instead of a normal hit.
The Iron Fist attack has a push-back strength of 50, and stuns enemies for 1 second. It also deals melee damage in a small area with a radius of 0.9 tiles (1.1 tiles as a Fusion).
Iron Fist deals 240 HP of damage for normal Barbarian King, and 480 damage for the Fusion. This is 57% more damage than a normal hit.
This evolution also increases Barbarian King's melee range from 1,550 to 1,800. These slight changes in melee range often happen between Baby and other evolutions, to provide more consistency with visuals and troop sizes.
⭐⭐⭐🌑🌑 Super
Recovers Health steadily when not attacking
When Barbarian King is not attacking, he heals 240 HP every 3 seconds (600 HP as Fusion). This healing happens also when walking around.
For reference, this healing speed allows him to recover 50% of his total health in 26 seconds (31 seconds as Fusion).

Gives a Super Rage Spell
Similar to the normal Rage spell, Super Rage makes troops deal more damage while maintaining the Hit Speed.
